something like that, but barrage is bad. and hero's / casters can use splinter too apparently.

Rits do mega more damage with splinter than do rangers. So either be a rit, or travel with one and let them put it on you. Otherwise, you can be one of the sheep that has a build that works, but not-quite-as-well as another prof can do.
